Paintings from the Extinction series are created by layering plaster on which there are paintings and frescoes. At the end of the process, the image is destroyed, revealing earlier layers of the image. This whole process is deliberate and thought out in advance. It resembles the destroyed facades of buildings or archaeological excavations of old temples. The painting is for sale.
